Eco-Building Solution Plus manufactures interlocking building blocks and paving tiles from recycled plastic, and builds with them anywhere in Nigeria: homes of one to five bedrooms, offices, school classrooms, and the roads and compounds around them. One block, laid by hand, no mortar
Waste plastic is washed, dried, shredded, blended to a controlled recipe, then pressed into an interlocking block. The studs of each course lock into the course above.

A wall built from our blocks carries six to eight times the compressive load of the sandcrete block it replaces, which is why the system can go up to two storeys without a masonry frame.
Strength and durabilityIt will not carry fire through the house
The block is solid through, with no cavity and no air gap for a fire to travel along. A flame retardant package is compounded into every one, and the material self extinguishes once the flame source is taken away.

A block weighs a kilogram. Dry stacked and self aligning, the blocks lock together by hand, and a trained local crew can raise the walls of a two bedroom home in about three days without a bag of cement on site.

Every classroom we build for a public school is free.
The Universal Basic Education Commission has put the national shortfall at over 1.1 million classrooms. We give classroom blocks to public schools in underserved communities at no cost, built from the same recycled plastic. This is not a donation programme bolted onto a business. It is what the business is for.

Our plant needs about 2,050 tonnes of sorted plastic a year, and none of it arrives by itself. We buy from independent collectors, cooperatives, estates, schools, churches, hotels and factories, on a contract and at a published rate. Collectors are suppliers with a contract, not scavengers, and we run the relationship that way.
